Is Being A Union Carpenter A Good Job
Carpenters is a great place to work especially if you are just starting out.
Is being a union carpenter a good job. Whats the job like. Union workers are always the top paid construction workers when. The Union abuses it contractors making it difficult to stay in business.
Being a union carpenter means good jobs and wages for working men and women. Being in business for myself and creating jobs for people is a plus however the union beats up on the Employer and makes it exhausting. There is ALWAYS work it may not be great but there is always a job willing to pay you to show up and work.
One other thing is the reason I am thinking of becoming a carpenter is basically because of this subreddit I think it would be cool to be able to make what I want with the experience I get from this job. The people who work there can also be competitive but its easy to ignore the drama and get the work done. In addition to this most types of carpenters need to work in extreme weather which requires you to have a strong stamina to keep up with the demand of the job.
Its amazing the different structures that carpenters can build. This is especially true if you join a local union and graduate from their apprenticeship program. It works under good work environment they are very organized and careful with the safety ruleseight hours are worked a day with a breat and a half-luch luch very little does overtime only if the company requires it to be worked overtime.
I was a Union Employee and enjoyed that to the fullest. Carpenters may also work. Ive been thinking about joining the union and doing individual carpentry Ive heard the pay and benefits are really good.
Being a Union Contractor I can say that I regret being Union. Having physical strength and body is one of the qualities the employer or union wants to look for an applicant before they can. The pay and benefits are good.
