How To Cut Wooden Spoon

How to cut wooden spoon. The size of the initial block of wood will be dependent on how big of spoon you plan to construct. To carve a spoon we start with a branch or a section of a log that has been recently cut-off. Remember to read precautions for the saw before using it.
This is done with the 5mm chisel. The wood you dont use right away you can leave it some high grass. Use a power carver with a rounded gouge to carve out the bowl of the spoon.
Push the gouge forward into the wood making cuts. Thats a very good wood for spoonmaking. I used a store-bought spoon and used it to trace out the pattern I wanted.
